Promotion Criteria
Secondary 1
In order to be promoted to Secondary 2, the below criteria for the respective courses must be fulfilled
Posting Group 3 | Pass in English Language and a pass percentage in the average of all subjects |
Posting Group 2 | Grade 5 or better in a) English Language and 2 other subjects or b) 4 subjects |
Posting Group 1 | Grade D or better in 2 subjects, one of which should be English Language or Mathematics |
Secondary 2
In order to be promoted to Secondary 3, the below criteria for the respective courses must be fulfilled
G3 | Pass in English Language and a pass percentage in the average of all subjects |
G2 | Grade 5 or better in a) English Language and 2 other subjects or b) 4 subjects |
G1 | Grade D or better in 2 subjects, one of which should be English Language or Mathematics |
Secondary 3
In order to be promoted to Secondary 4, the below criteria for the respective courses must be fulfilled
G3 | Grade 6 or better in English Language and 2 other subjects |
G2 | Grade 5 or better in a) English Language and 2 other subjects or b) 4 subjects |
G1 | Grade D or better in 2 subjects, one of which should be English Language or Mathematics |
