JW Learning Experiences Framework
Explore how the JW Learning Experiences Framework equips every student with future-ready skills through a well-rounded curriculum of core subjects, co-curricular activities, and signature programmes.

Central to the framework is the JWSS Key-shaped Competencies Model, underpinned by our shared belief that competencies can be grown and our vision that every child will be equipped with a unique set of competencies to unlock their aspirations.
Learning Experiences are competency-focused to develop future-ready learners.
The dotted ring represents how the various platforms come together to form the total curriculum. There is porosity in the way students undergo Extension, Exploration and Mastery-type learning experiences.
Competencies are developed through the suite of learning experiences in school – core curriculum, co-curriculum, and signature programmes.
The blue ring outlines the four suggested pedagogical approaches which can be employed in the design of learning experiences.
The outermost ring consists of the three overarching design principles that inform the design of all learning experiences
JW Future-Ready Competencies
To fulfill the school vision of nurturing our students to their fullest potential, school programmes will focus on developing in students Future-Ready Competencies which would allow them to be:
●independent life-long learners with a joy for learning and growth mindset [ST1.1, ST2.1];
●adaptive thinkers who are effective problem solvers anchored in values [ST1.2, ST2.2];
●confident leaders with a spirit of innovation and agency to serve [ST1.3, ST2.3], and
●empowered digital creators, connectors and collaborators [EdTech Masterplan 2030].
