Holistic Activities and Programmes
Our Concert Band offers students a vibrant environment to explore their musical talents, develop skills, and build lasting friendships. With a focus on fostering passion, dedication, and musical excellence, our band program is designed to nurture students’ growth as musicians and individuals.
Each year, our students have opportunities to perform, starting with the CCA Open House, where they showcase their talents to new students and parents. Our students also perform for the school’s Speech Day and National Day Parade. Once every two years, they will participate in the Singapore Youth Festival presentation. These performances build confidence and provide a platform to demonstrate the hard work put into each practice session.
We believe in experiential learning, so it is a regular affair for band members to attend concerts and learning journey to witness professional musicians in action to inspire them in their own musical journeys.

Team Bonding and VIA
Our annual band camp is a transformative experience focusing on character building, resilience, and teamwork. The camp helps students develop a positive mindset, a sense of responsibility, and a deeper connection to the band, creating lifelong memories and invaluable skills.
In a unique CCA exchange, our band members also had the chance to interact with the school’s volleyball team through fun team-building games and activities. This session allowed students from both CCAs to learn from one another and strengthen bonds across different groups. Band members introduced various musical instruments to the volleyball team, sparking curiosity and giving them a taste of the skills and dedication that go into our performances. This exchange emphasized collaboration, understanding, and the joy of exploring new interests together.
As part of our commitment to engaging with the community, our Concert Band is honored to perform at local events, such as the Pioneer National Day Dinner. This year, our talented band members contributed to the National Day celebrations by collaborating with the Choir, showcasing patriotic tunes and uplifting performances for the residents of Pioneer. This event not only allows our students to share their passion for music but also brings the community together in a shared spirit of pride and celebration.
